Doug HawkinsPrint Page
A statue commemorates local Australian Rules Football personality, Doug Hawkins.
The super-skilled wingman ranks only behind Ted Whitten and Charlie Sutton in the hearts of Bulldog supporters, and was one of the finest players of the 1980s. Hawkins grew up in public housing in Braybrook, which was where the ex-Western Bulldog began playing club football.
